At first I was a little wary of buying a camera that can only produce 640x480 images, when I can buy a 10 megapixel point and shoot for much less, but I realized (duh!) that these cameras serve a completely different purpose. Not only are the images transmitted over my home network, but this camera is designed to take pictures 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I found the camera very easy to set up: the directions are clear and on a Mac you don't even have to muck about with IP addresses, it will show up automatically with Bonjour.
